SNAPSHOTS OF CREATIVITY
A+ Schools can share classroom creativity at the Aug. 1 Statewide Conference!

Follow these four steps.
1. Open and save to your computer this Snapshot Entry Form.  E-mail the completed Snapshot Entry Form to jwomble1@ucok.edu. This deadline has been extended to Friday, May 30, 2008. Please remember, the session DEPENDS on your participation.

2. Provide handouts related to your Snapshot for conference participants. Choose from one of the three handout versions below, or create your own.
A+ Essential Handout     Masterpiece Handout    Snapshot Handout
E-mail a copy of your handout to jwomble1@ucok.edu by June 15, 2008.
(All handouts received by June 15 will be included on the conference CD.)

3. Create a visual display board to set up at the Statewide Conference.

4. Bring handout copies to distribute at Statewide Conference (if deisired).

Featured School:  Chouteau Fine Arts Academy

Chouteau‘s informance began with sounds from awesome homemade drums played by Sally Haughey‘s Pre-K class along with Robin Peyton and Angela Parker‘s 4th/5th grade multiage class. Next, Angela Parker‘s 5th graders played the tune, "What do You Do with a Whacky Sailor?" on boom whackers. Jennifer Potts and Dana McBurney‘s 2nd graders, assisted by Angela Peyton, concluded with a performance of "The Mitten," with words and music by Heidi Butkus.
