Becoming an A+ School requires faculty buy-in and a clear understanding of the process.  Schools should not be expected to commit to a model they have not investigated thoroughly. In order for schools to develop the understanding, Oklahoma A+ Schools® provides the following:

Pre-Institute I, December 4, 5, 6, one of these, to be attended by 3 to 7 staff members or community supporters, one of whom should be the principal.

 And

Pre-Institute II, January 29, 30, and 31, one of these, attended by 3 to 7 different staff members or community supporters, one of whom should be the principal.
