Year Two:  A two-day Summer Conference designed specifically for each school and based upon direct information and requests from the school in order to support the school’s implementation of the A+ Essentials™ and philosophy, and a Statewide Conference.

Year Three and Beyond:  A Summer Conference designed specifically for each school and based upon direct information and requests from the school and/or a Statewide Conference for the network in order to support the school’s implementation of the A+ Essentials™ and philosophy.

Ongoing Support During the School Year

On-site professional development:  Two consultations to the school each year, providing services based upon the school’s mission, goals, needs assessment and requests.

Fall and Spring Mini-Institutes: Overnight retreats for all principals and coordinators of A+ schools and initial training for any teachers hired after the last Summer Institute or Conference.

Other networking opportunities:
•    Visits to other A+ schools
•    Regional meetings or events open to all network schools each year
•    Other networking events as determined by the network participants, such as principals’ dinners, teacher job swaps, grade level teacher meetings, etc.

Partnerships with organizations to bring different but complementary resources or professional development to our schools, for example: San Francisco Symphony, Apple, and OSU Physics Department.

** In support of network schools all expenses are covered by the network for: meals, lodging, trainers, and training materials.  Substitutes and mileage are the responsibility of the member school.**
